We’re so proud to share that we’ve been awarded the Silver Accreditation by Investors in the Environment (iiE), a recognition of our ongoing work and commitment to environmental sustainability at Everyturn.
What this means for us
Achieving Silver Accreditation is a reflection of the work and dedication of our teams. Over the last year, we’ve:
- Improved on our Bronze Accreditation last year, reflecting our progress as an organisation.
- Become a Carbon Literate Organisation
- Added employee benefits, that everyone can use, for electric cars and improving energy use at home
- We’ve demonstrated carbon reduction in areas like gas use, and introduced more energy efficiency measures.
- We’re managing and measuring our waste, providing food waste bins and glass bins for our residential sites
- Started a Green Champions network, to encourage positive changes across the organisation, and provide learning and development opportunities.
- We’re accurately measuring all areas of our carbon footprint.
- We’ve clearly defined our targets and action plans for all of our resources.
- We’ve created a travel plan available to our colleagues to help support sustainable travel.
What’s next
We’re so proud of this achievement, but we know our journey won’t stop here. We’re going for Green Accreditation, so our next steps will be have a big focus on reducing our environmental impact through reducing energy and waste, especially at our operational sites.
