Let's talk to Emma, Clinical Governance and Quality Officer here at Everyturn. We value all of our colleagues, and if you're thinking about applying for a role with us, why not have a read through some of our colleague stories? Read all about how they found their roles, and navigating their career journeys in the past few months and years.

Meet Emma!

Emma, our Clinical Governance & Quality Officer has been with us at Everyturn for five months. We asked Emma a few questions about her experience so far…

What’s the best thing about working at Everyturn?

“I have the flexibility to prioritise my workload, I feel very supported and have felt very welcomed since I joined by everyone across the organisation.”

What is the most rewarding part of your role?

“As part of my role as Clinical Governance Officer I support colleagues following incidents and review practices, and ensure learnings are shared to ensure services are safe and effective for all service users.

As I was previously a nurse, I have always been on the “frontline” but working behind the scenes is just as satisfying to help to make a difference to service users experiences across all services.”

What part of the role made you want to work with us?

“My background is general nursing and I have always worked within a hospital or medical centre setting and been “patient facing” for much of my career. I have worked with patients experiencing mental health concerns and always been interested in trying to help and support where I can. This role appealed to me as I was already working within Clinical governance for a different organisation and was able to bring my skills and knowledge to this role and then expand on my mental health knowledge.”

If someone was thinking about applying for a role like yours, what advice or encouragement would you give them?

“I have had nothing but a positive experience since I joined Everyturn so I would of course say “Go for it!”

Thanks for chatting with us all about your role, Emma!
