Everyone’s mental health is different. In Peterborough and Cambridge, we offer a range of talking therapies and counselling services for lots of common mental health issues including:

  •  Low mood or depression: we all feel down or sad at some point in our lives and it’s very normal for our moods to fluctuate, but if these feelings persist, it may be a sign of depression and low mood.
  •  Anxiety: there are several forms of anxiety, including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), health anxiety or social anxiety disorder. You may also suffer from panic disorder and agoraphobia, which can increase your anxiety.
  •  Stress: in modern day life, feeling stressed can be a very normal reaction to starting a new job or preparing for an exam but if high levels of stress continue for over a long period of time, it can take a toll on your mental wellbeing and physical health.
  • Long term health condition: conditions like diabetes, chronic pain or heart conditions affect your physical health but can also significantly impact your mental health, so you may feel like talking to a therapist can help you deal with your thoughts and feelings if you suffer from a long term health condition.

 Interpersonal therapy (IPT) Learn more

Helping us to identify links between the symptoms of depression and our relationship, interpersonal therapy (IPT) focuses on conflict with another person, adjustment to life changes, grief and bereavement and difficulties in starting or maintaining relationships.
