Today marks a landmark moment in Project Heart, Everyturn’s digital transformation programme.
On 1st September, we successfully rolled out the Rio Electronic Patient Record (EPR) across our Registered Services in Dementia & Nursing care, completing the first phase of a programme that is transforming the way we work. This follows the successful launch in our Crisis support and Community & Wellbeing services on 4th August.
A year of transformation
Over the past 12 months, colleagues across Everyturn have been reshaping how we work by implementing new clinical systems across our services. Project Heart set out to build stronger digital foundations for safer, more connected care – and this milestone marks a major step forward.
With Rio now live across all services, colleagues can access one connected system that supports seamless care pathways and gives our communities faster, more joined-up support.
Why it matters
Rio brings together information in a single, secure record, giving colleagues what they need, when they need it.
That means less time managing systems and more time focusing on the people we support. Already, teams are working more quickly, collaborating more closely, and delivering care that feels more joined-up and personal.
Adam Crampsie, CEO of Everyturn Mental Health, said:
“Innovation in mental health is key to shaping the future of care. Rio EPR gives our teams a connected system with the information they need, when they need it. It’s an exciting step forward as we continue to transform and build a stronger, more connected service for the people and communities we support.”
Steve Wightman, General Manager of Access Health, added:
“We’re delighted to partner with Everyturn Mental Health in their digital transformation journey. Their commitment to providing connected, person-centred care aligns perfectly with Rio EPR’s capabilities to break down information barriers and enable truly integrated mental health services.”
Looking ahead
This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of colleagues and partners across Everyturn.
And this is just the beginning. With phase one complete, Project Heart will continue into 2026 and beyond, shaping the future of care, and building services that are stronger, more connected, and ready to support those who need us, when they need us.
