Established by the UN in 2012. the International Day of Happiness recognises that the achievement of ‘happiness and wellbeing’ is a life goal for many of us.

There are many ways in which we can actively seek to improve how happy we are.

Note down 3 good things that happen to you each day.

They don’t need to be spectacular – they might be very simple things like having a walk with your dog, perhaps going to the park with your children or spending an hour of quality time with a friend.

Paying attention to the small positive events in the day can help us to appreciate and be thankful for what we have
