NHS Shared Business Services has launched a new £70 million framework agreement, designed to give people quicker access to mental health services.

The framework is officially called Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism: Assessment and Diagnosis, NHS Talking Therapies and Crisis Services.

The framework will give the NHS access to pre-approved service providers, including charities like Everyturn, to help reduce waiting times.

Everyturn has been appointed to two of the three sections of the framework:

  1. Crisis services
  2. NHS Talking Therapies

Pasha Tanriverdi, Everyturn’s Head of Development, said:

“We’re delighted that Everyturn has been appointed to this framework. We’re already a close partner to the NHS, so this is another new way for us to support essential services across England.

“Our national team of clinicians can reduce waiting lists for NHS Talking Therapies services, while our range of crisis services support people through the most difficult times of their lives.

“We offer same-day, walk-in crisis support on the high street; up to 12 weeks of ongoing support; as well as crisis support over the phone.

“Everyturn’s place on this new framework reinforces our role as a trusted partner to the NHS. We look forward to the framework giving us new opportunities to develop innovative services with the NHS, to improve even more people’s lives.”
