We're thrilled to announce that even more Everyturn Mental Health’s services will now be offering lifesaving defibrillators, as part of creating safer spaces for the people we support.
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), supplied by London Hearts, have now been installed at our Wirral Talking Therapies service and our Jubilee and Coalway Lane specialist 24-hour specialist adult care services, after the success of these being available at our North East Safe Havens in March.
Using a defibrillation within the first few minutes of someone experiencing a cardiac arrest is critical as it can increase someone’s survival rates by 70%.
The AEDs have been supplied by London Hearts, a UK charity who increase access to defibrillators and life-saving training. They have already installed over 25,000 devices across the UK and trained more than 200,000 people nationwide, which includes giving detailed training to our service teams on how to use these AED’s safely.
