In June, we celebrated our incredible colleagues at our third annual Everyturn Awards ceremony! Our annual awards ceremony is a time to celebrate the impactful work our colleagues across all of our services do every day.
Our 2026 Everyturn Awards winners!
We were really excited to be back at Gosforth Civic Theatre to host our awards ceremony. Gosforth Civic Theatre are an independent arts venue, café bar, events space and community hub. We’d like to say a huge thank you to the brilliant team at GCT who helped make our night as wonderful as it was.
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Aspire for helping us celebrate an incredible year by sponsoring our drinks!
And last but not least we’d like to thank Ana Fae Music, Not Just A Pretty Face Paint, Gavin Forster Photography, and Studio Social North Photobooth for helping us make sure the night was one to remember.
Our 40th anniversary year
This year was a significant one, as it also marks 40 years of Everyturn Mental Health!
In 1986, Everyturn (then, Mental Health Concern) was founded as a single dementia care home, providing people living with dementia and their families with person-centred care and support.
Now, in 2026, we provide support to people and their families across the country. Whether it’s dementia care, specialist nursing, talking therapies, community services, crisis support, or supporting children and young people – our purpose is the same now as it was then, to make sure no one has to struggle alone.
It was wonderful to look back and reflect on the last 40 years, and look ahead to the future.

Our final award of the night was the Tom Carpenter Award. An award which recognises a colleague at Everyturn Mental Health who embodies Tom Carpenter’s values and passion in their own work.
