Emily will be sharing her commercial expertise and passion for environmental conservation.

Emily says:

I’m delighted to join The Conservation Volunteers’ board of trustees, following the launch of the charity’s exciting new five-year strategy. The strategy sets out some ambitious goals and I look forward to using my experience of growing healthcare services to aid TCV’s vision for healthier, happier communities for everyone.

As a mum of two young children, I’m also very mindful of the impact the current climate and biodiversity crisis could have on future generations, and of how vital the development and protection of the environment is.

Delivering a measurable impact to society is also a key part of our strategy at Everyturn Mental Health, and I’m looking forward to using the experience I gain at TCV to support this. Spending time in nature can be hugely beneficial to our mental health. However, sadly those who would benefit most from natural spaces often have the least access to them. That’s why I’m delighted to join TCV, a charity whose mission is to connect people and the environment.

The Conservation Volunteers bring people together to create, improve and care for the green spaces that form a vital part of any healthy, happy community.

Their team of dedicated staff and volunteers work with communities across England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, connecting people and green spaces to deliver lasting outcomes for both.
