Since our Chief People Officer Sarah Dewar joined Everyturn Mental Health and Everyturn Mental Health in 2021, we have rolled out a fantastic wellbeing programme that has made a meaningful difference to the wellbeing of our people.

Sarah explains:

‘Everyturn Mental Health are here so nobody has to struggle alone, this includes our colleagues.

As a key part of our Shaping our Future strategy, we’re investing in our people to create a high-performing organisation. So, we’re prioritising the wellbeing of our colleagues, especially those working in our frontline mental health services.

Working in partnership with our Colleague Forum, EDI colleague network groups and with colleague survey outputs, we have put a new wellbeing strategy and programme in place. Our wellbeing programme includes investment in a full new suite of colleague benefits, regular Values Awards, a volunteering programme, and practical financial wellbeing support for colleagues during the cost-of-living crisis.

In response, we’ve recorded improvements in perceived trust and acceptance, reduced absences, as well as a significant increase in colleague engagement. So much so, that we’re now officially accredited as a Great Place to Work!’


It’s amazing to reflect on our journey with our colleague wellbeing and engagement and celebrate the fantastic work our People Team do to support the wellbeing of their colleagues.
